So, we made it back from our Texas road trip. :-) We stayed with my uncle and grandma, in Little Elm. We just chillaxed for a few days.
We went mountain biking. It was my first time. I wiped out a couple of times.
:-( Oh well, now I'm officially a Tough Mountain Bikin' Chick. arrrrrrrr! lol
Then, with Jill, the loyal GPS voice as our guide, we headed farther South.

Finally we made it to Galveston Island and, after a stop at (where else?!) WalMart, we arrived at the beach.
We saw some friendly Jellyfish, but they were too far out for me to get a picture.

Great pictures, Molly! Looks like a fun time. It also looks like you got into your biking more than I did - memories of childhood biking incidents kept me from going all out on the mountain trails. I suppose it's a fear I shall have to work harder yet to overcome... :-)
