life is a quest. a search. a constant seeking for the things that will bring us joy. but sometimes we are powerless to move. sometimes we must sit. and wait. for joy to find us. we must wait for the light to fall on us. in some ways this is the best place to be, because when we are helpless and inactive we cannot claim the glory for the light. we did not do anything to bring ourselves joy, it was brought to us when we least deserved it. so wait. and trust. and soak up every drop of joy that graciously falls on you, however small.
