at first she didn't know what to think of the shaggy-haired new youth minister. it was her last summer interning with the youth minister. the pastor had asked her to stick around and help the new guy settle in. he was a little goofy, but as she listened to him talk his ideas resonated with her. the two had the same heart. the same passion. soon enough they were best friends. for two years they were best friends, never imagining what lay in store for them. until one day daniel began to realize what their friends had known all along. daniel and christie were perfect for each other. but christie still wasn't sure. she took a long weekend retreat in the woods to pray about her relationship with daniel. by the time she returned God had given her an answer, and daniel was ready to give her a ring. and not long after, they were married under a cross on a cliff at sunset. and the best part about this God-written story? it's not a happy ending. it's a happy beginning.

i was so blessed to be able to shoot this couple's wedding! i don't know if i've ever seen two people more in love with each other. these two waited so patiently for each other and for God's timing. and their union is such a beautiful witness to what God can do when you lay your life and dreams and desires at His feet.
